Re-Deeming the Internet

In: Online Church| Video

Just read an article by Brandon Buckner in the Collide Magazine about Online Church. It was a solid article that focused on the basis of whether online church is good or bad. It talked about how thousands are becoming saved and meeting other Christians with a click of the mouse. And that in two short years online church has grown from 3 to 35. Amazing, I think so. There are even Internet Campus Pastors and Directors that work primarily on what their title says.

Now some argue whether online church truly is effective and for those that do, I understand where they are coming from to a degree. But only a degree. There are so many stories that say otherwise.

What are your thoughts?

OH dont get me started here.!

From my personal experience i can give online church TWO thumbs up.

1- I’ve met christians all over the world.
2- Non-christians would rather attend a web service than a “physical” church building
3- I get to “go” to church in NC, IL, SC and CA while still in Venezuela
4- I hear from different speakers every week AND learn LOTs about God

that, to name a few reasons why i love online church.
